About
Susan Kruss has worked as a secondary teacher, journalist and newspaper/magazine sub-editor. She worked at the Ballarat Courier as a journalist/sub-editor, and later worked in-house at Deakin University for 11 years as an editor, senior editor and instructional designer. Susan established a freelance writing and editing business in 1990 and is now in the process of expanding that business to include instructional design and a full publishing service.
Her work has involved extensive client consultation, management of multiple projects, finding solutions to complex requirements, commissioning and contracting authors, liasing with stakeholders and with production professionals, and working to strict deadlines and within specified budgets.
She has worked on a wide range of projects, including the development of education courses for higher education and corporate industry, editing non-fiction books and theses at all levels, writing community histories, education guides and council and government documents.

Graduate Certificate in Social Sciences (Monash University)
Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
