Writing

Writing may include discussion of the concept with the client, research, development of a first draft, consultation with the client and/or editor, and amendments as required. Specific projects will develop in different ways, depending on the needs of the client and the project.

Some clients may want all of the writing done, while others may want help with writing or someone to write specific parts of a publication. Clients may want part of a publication rewritten in a style that complements the existing text.

I have extensive experience in writing for different audiences in a range of styles and genres. This may be for a specific level of education, such as a training manual or a technical publication, or it may be a creative work such as a novel or a collection of poetry, or it may be a family or community history, or a document such as a wedding program or government report. Whatever your writing needs, I will work closely with you to achieve the result you are seeking.

I am particularly interested in writing commissioned works for professional publishers.
